Welcome to Harmonium Counseling Services.
We are so glad that you found us, and hope that we can be of service to you.

In his book The Sirens of Titan, prolific Indiana author, Kurt Vonnegut, introduced diamond-shaped creatures referred to as “Harmoniums.”  Harmoniums are described as peaceful and gracious.  They live on positive vibrations and positive energy, and are incapable of doing harm.

As mental health professionals, our goal is to follow these ideals.  It is our priority to provide a safe, secure, and judgment-free space for clients to share and work through the difficulties they are experiencing.  We would love to help restore peace to the lives of clients, provide education as to how to better cope, and empower clients to be the best versions of themselves.

Thank you for choosing Harmonium Counseling Services.

Who We Serve

ADULTS

Adulthood is a time where independence and responsibilities increase. If not managed well, stress can build and develop into clinical issues like Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Young adulthood is also when personality disorders and psychotic disorders surface. Adults need to be vigilant about tending to mental health needs.

RELATIONSHIPS

Personal relationships can be difficult to create, and difficult to sustain. In romantic relationships, couples will often seek counseling as a proactive measure or as a way to repair relationships. The same is true for friendships and family relationships. Taking good care of personal relationships is an integral part of having positive mental and emotional health.

Those looking to be assessed

We provide assessments for ADHD and mood disorders. Full psychological assessment panels, however, will need to be obtained from a licensed Psychologist. We can provide referrals for such testing if requested.
